think/feel/change is a strategic consultancy that helps funders and social impact organizations get clearer on the change they’re here to make.

I'm Patrin Watanatada, and through think/feel/change I work with mission-driven teams—especially in philanthropy, nonprofits, and creative fields—who want to:
Put structure around messy questions
Get clear on what they’re really trying to do
— Move forward with care and intention, towards a just and thriving world.

Ways I can help you move forward

I’m often brought in when teams are ready to move from questions to clarity.
For example:

🔍 You're doing lots of good workpossibly too much.

→ I can help you sharpen strategy—so that you engage the right people, clarify positioning, align narrative and theory of change, and support learning and measurement.

🧭 You're facing a big strategic question and need a clear way forward.

→ I can help you develop frameworks to orient decision-making and guide action—grounded in your experience and the wider field.

⚖️ You're seeking practical ways to identify and tackle disparities in access, representation, and outcomes.

→ I’ll meet you where you are, to turn equity intentions into everyday practice across strategy, programmes, or grantmaking.

You're planning a session or event that needs to really land.

→ I’ll help design a session that moves people—through collaborative prep, a clear narrative arc, and thoughtful facilitation design.

If that sounds like you, I’d love to explore how we might work together.

Principles that guide my approach

think/feel/change is rooted in three principles drawn from what I've learned about change across issues, sectors, and contexts.

We don’t change just because we’re told to. We change because we feel something.
So I will work with you to shape strategies and moments that move hearts as well as minds, resonating with those you seek to influence and serve.

If change isn’t shaped by and for the people closest to the problem, it won’t last.
So I will work alongside you to explore what that looks like in practice, wherever you are in the journey.

We don't need to do it all. The most powerful work happens when we lead with what we do best — and make room for others to do the same.
So I will work to help you clarify your distinctive contributions, and build collaborative approaches that lead with strength.

Ways we can work together

I bring a seasoned perspective—and I also roll up my sleeves to help you move forward. Depending on the moment and need, I can join you as:

→ A consultant delivering a defined piece of work.
→ An ongoing thought partner or sounding board, helping think through strategic questions behind the scenes.
→ A project director-for-hire, leading or managing time-bound initiatives in collaboration with your in-house team.

Though I work independently, I don't necessarily work alone. I love collaborating with in-house colleagues or other consultants, to deepen the work and extend what's possible.

Areas where I bring particular experience

I work on many issues, but especially on:

Urban health and child-friendly cities
Early childhood and caregiving
Clean air and climate action
Corporate responsibility and business action on social and environmental issues
Putting equity into practice

Whatever the topic, I’ll work with you to find clarity and opportunity.
