The Work Beneath

An occasional newsletter on how change happens, and what it takes to shape it.
The Work Beneath is where I share what I’m noticing and learning about how change really happens in the world, in our systems, and in ourselves.
It's a space for working out loud (as my friend Lorraine Smith says) on the often unseen foundations of change. You'll find reflections on:
— The big issues of today and tomorrow: inequality, climate change, caregiving, urban justice...
— The work of systems and social change: organizing, framing, imagining, maintaining...
— Human-centered tools for work that works: communication, facilitation, personal growth, and more.
Plus the occasional photo or link worth clicking.
I aim for thoughtfully provocative and/or immediately useful.
And low-frequency... the good kind of irregular.
No back issues yet, but the first one's on the way.
