Through think/feel/change, I've worked with Clean Air Fund, Draper Richards Kaplan Foundation, Fam Studio, Impact on Urban Health, International Society for Urban Health, and Van Leer Foundation, among others.

The examples below give a sense for how I support teams to move ideas into action.

1️⃣ Clean Air Fund — from equity intention into practice

Before
Equity was emerging as a priority for the world's only philanthropy focused entirely on clean air, but there wasn't yet a shared understanding across strategy and grantmaking.
After
A clear understanding of why equity matters across outcomes and processes — plus guidance, training, and process shifts to embed it in programming.

🔎 What I did

— I worked closely with the team to conceptualize, test, iterate, and further embed their approach to equity in programming.
— I analyzed equitable grantmaking practices by other climate funders and supported the senior leadership team to prioritize actions.

2️⃣ Impact on Urban Health, part of Guy's & St Thomas' Foundation — targeting health and racial inequalities in Lambeth & Southwark's air

Before
A strong program at a place-based health equity funder, looking to refresh focus based on what was working well and lessons learned, and to apply the organizational commitment to race equity.
After (in progress)
Increased team alignment and confidence, a refreshed strategy narrative, and a framework for targeting work to tackle inequalities related to air pollution.

🔎 What I'm doing

— I supported Impact on Urban health's health effects of air pollution strategy refresh, through a series of team workshops and strategy narrative development.
— I'm now helping to translate their commitment to race equity into a framework for strengthening evidence and targeting programming.

3️⃣ International Society for Urban Health — building the Equity into Action Starter Kit across six continents

Before
ISUH's Accelerating City Equity Project sought a shared language and guiding framework to capture lessons from dozens of equity-driven sustainable development efforts in Africa, Asia, Europe, Oceania, North America, and Latin America.
After
The Equity into Action Starter Kit built on a 5-dimension framework for equity — built through consultation, case writing, and structured sensemaking.

🔎 What I did

— I led the design, testing, and development of a toolkit and case studies to help cities, NGOs, and funders translate equity principles into everyday decisions.

4️⃣ Draper Richards Kaplan Foundation — mapping the landscape for a new portfolio

Before
A bold initiative to address an urgent, underfunded issue, seeking clarity on where investing in proven, innovative and scalable solutions could have greatest impact.
After
A concise, evidence-informed landscape map; a Call for Proposals; and support for convening an expert review council to help DRK find social entrepreneurs tackling this devastating challenge.

🔎 What I did

— I worked closely with DRK, a global venture philanthropy fund,
to map the global landscape of childhood sexual violence prevention, healing, and justice to support a call for high-impact social enterprises and guide $5 million in funding.
— I'm now coordinating the group of experts who are reviewing potential investments.

5️⃣ Clean Air Fund — catalyzing an innovative cross-issue partnership

Before
A strong community-led partnership with city government and a promising pilot in Accra, Ghana.
After
An innovative partnership model for Clean Air Fund, and broader funding and increased visibility for GAYO, part of the wider momentum on the way to their 2024 Earthshot Prize recognition.

🔎 What I did

As part of helping to develop Clean Air Fund's first African program in Ghana:
— I connected Clean Air Fund and Green Africa Youth Organization (GAYO).
— I helped evolve the next phase of GAYO's circular economy pilot Zero Waste Accra, by proposing pollution-focused activities and metrics, and coordinating with another pollution-focused funder.
— This led to Clean Air Fund's first partnership in the waste management sector, co-funded with Global Methane Hub and Urban Movement Innovation Fund.

6️⃣ Designing sessions that move people

7-person panel and moderator participatory research at Healthy City Design, with speakers sharing insights and an audience listening closely.
At Healthy City Design 2024 in Liverpool, UK, I supported Impact on Urban Health partners to clarify their presentation goals and narratives. This lively session spotlighted participatory and community-led urban health research.

From large public stages to invitation-only retreats, I help teams bring clarity and heart to the story they’re sharing.

Before
Accomplished teams with powerful ideas, but limited headspace to craft them into compelling sessions, or in need of fresh outside perspective.
After
Collaborative prep—and sometimes facilitation or moderation—to lift the pressure: clear story arcs, speaker support, and in-person or online session design that helps speakers show up with confidence and connect with their audiences.

🔎 What I did

I’ve worked alongside Impact on Urban Health and its partners, Start for Children Bratislava, Van Leer Foundation, and Clean Air Fund to help shape event narratives, suggest speakers, and design sessions and workshops that move the work forward.
